Yea I left not knowing if I passed or not too. But my License was online the next day. lol

Back then, if you were online it meant you were talking on the telephone :)

I tested in July, started working in July as RN-LP, got my license in the mail in Sept

About the 1000 questions vs. 75 questions issue: if you look at the historical first-time US-educated pass rates from 1992 and 1993 (last year of paper and pencil) to 1994 (first year of CAT) and 1995, you will see that the pass rate dropped. Pass rates with the CAT have, for the most part, been lower than in the years of paper and pencil.

I compared only the years surrounding the change so that dramatic changes in nursing education would not be a factor.

Correction: the pass rate went up immediately after CAT started, but then were generally lower afterward.

1992 91.5/92.7

1993 91.3/91.1

1994 (before April/paper and pencil) 89.9

1994 (after April/CAT) 93.5/88.7

1995 (first time using quarterly reports) 90.7/93.1/89.6/78.7

1996 88.5/91.0/87.2/77.1
