I heard CNA's do not, but do LPN's?? Do LPN's do IV, blood work, and inject meds?
CNA don't do any of these procedures?

Yes. I'm allowed to start IV's, blood draws and push most medications. LVN's cannot access portacaths, hang blood or push certain cardiac medications.

It HIGHLY depends upon your BON in your state as stated above. I know that not all LPNs are the same, from what I understand some can get certain certifications to do IVs and such but that also depends upon your facility.

When I was a tech, I was able to draw blood ...and do foleys...
