No, your att is good for the length of time it states on the letter. You do have to go to Pearsonvue and register again and pay the fee to schedule another test

There's a reapply application you need to fill out from the brn site; along with the application you send 150 $ fee. Once the BRN reviews your application they send you a letter stating that you are now able to register at Pearson vue. That is an additional 250 $.

This depends on the state you live in.

Most states the ATT is good for the length stated but only one test. Therefore you need to reapply with the board of nursing to resit the exam. usually when the letter informing you that you did not pass the exam is mailed it includes information on how to apply to retest (whether you can apply online, fees required, how long you must wait to retest...some states it's 30 days while other states you must wait 90 days or longer before you can retest). You WILL have to pay an additional $200 to Pearson Vue to retest.

For example, in PA this is the process:

12. If I fail the exam, how long do I have to wait to retake the exam?

Answer: You can apply to retake the NCLEX® exam at any time, however you may not

retest until 45 days elapse since your most recent test date.

13. If I fail the exam, can I still practice with my Temporary Practice Permit?

Answer: The answer is NO. The Temporary Practice Permit expires immediately if you fail the exam.

14. If I failed the exam how do I reapply to retake the exam?

Answer: You must submit a paper form application and can download it by going to State Board of Nursing , click on Board Forms /Applications. (There is a fee for re-examination)

Thank You all.
