Do I really need to study for teas

Published

So i just applied to the lpn program at lcctc. I plan on taking the teas soon. Ive already taken prerequisites at community college for math, chem, bio, and a few others, so i really dont feel like i need to study. I dont want to waste time studying or send the money for the book. But, admission really stressed to study.

Did you study? Was it really that hard?

That really awesome you have a youtube channel. Its relly hard to find vlogs for other lpn students! I'll be subscribing ☺

Thank you! Id love for you to sub! It is basically my journey from pre nursing to RN and everything else in between to get there!

Yes!!! Study! Nursing schools are competitive and often take the highest academic achieving students to be in their program. To get in my BSN program, TEAS is a fairly large factor. I bought a TEAS study book from Barnes & Noble and I studied a few hours every day for about 8-10 weeks before my TEAS test. I read the book, went through the questions, and made a study sheet. I got an 88 on my TEAS test. You don't want to have to retake it, so study. It's worth it!

You make a valid point. TEAS scores are sometimes used to get you into a program. Our school had a separate lottery for those that scored highest.
