I don't know if you have heard of Patty Hearst. She was the daughter of a very wealthy man and she was kidnapped. They had her help them rob banks. She helped them because she said they treated her well and did not hurt her. Even after she was rescued she said they were good people.
I hope this helps you.

""Stockholm Syndrome"". Wouldn't you think it would be called the Hearst Syndrome or L.A. Syndrome? I mean, isn't Stockholm where they give the Nobel Awards every year or two? Who would ever identify with their kidnappers in Stockholm? They probably don't even have that word in their language. Curious, isn't it?

I have heard the Stockholm Syndrome.
Hostages afer several days believe their captors are good people because they did not kill or injure the hostages. Some hostages will even provide money for lawyers.
I have not heard Switzerland syndrome.
