Ok, so just curious, how many of you ladies wear pants, and how many wear skirts? And how many alternate?? I have always been interested as I went to do working experience at a hospital last year, and the nurses wear both.

I never understood why guys wear skirts? They always chafe my upper knees. :)
As a guy:) I really can't say about skirts but they seem to look rather restrictive in movements to me, I would say go with pants.

bit late but think it is a cultural thing. Many aussies I know wear either. Most of the Irish and English nurses I know refuse to wear skirts think it is from student days of those lovely uniforms. I wear skirts from time to time as I can never find decent fitting trousers that are long enough in the leg so have some dodgy target trousers and well dodgy target skirts. To cheap to spend good money on work clothes hen the hospital is going to bring in a uniform in the next 6 months

I wear pants, I just don't think I would be as comfortable in a skirt.

Maybe a skirt would be nice on a hot summer day to get some air flow, but I think my boss might have a problem with it.
plus you would have to shave your legs!
