  1. Any help would be appreciated! I am receiving my HSC results tomorrow, and my official ATAR the following day. For the university I am going to be going to, the ATAR is only 70, which I am confident I can get. However, I want to be a Nurse Practitioner, for which the ATAR is 85. I am not sure if I will reach that high. So my question is, can I do a normal 3 year RN course, and then transfer to an Advanced Nursing Course at the end?? Thank you!
  2. Thankyou so much for that reassurance!!
  3. Thankyou for all of your answers! All though I am kind of scared now as I am not taking maths....
  4. I am so sorry because I know that this question may be asked alot. I would just like to know if: You took Maths in your final years of High School Are you naturally gifted in Maths? Did it help you in University/Colledge/Nursing School? Is there lots of Maths involved in Nursing I should be worried about? Thank you so much for any answers!!! :)
  5. Ok, so just curious, how many of you ladies wear pants, and how many wear skirts? And how many alternate?? I have always been interested as I went to do working experience at a hospital last year, and the nurses wear both.
  6. Thankyou for your answers. They have been helpful. If anybody else has any input they would like to share, don't hesitate please!! :)
  7. I dropped Maths, because I can't handle the stress of it at the moment, and just wondering how many of you took maths, and if it was much help? Do you just need basic maths knowledge, so they can teach you everything else you need to know at Uni? Thanks for any replies!
  8. Hi, I am in year 11 this year, and am really considering Nursing as a job. But I was just curious, have you ever been hurt or threatened by a patient/family member seriously? I know this may be part of the job, working with sick people takes its toal on everyone. In no way will your replies effect my decision, but I was just curious. Thanks for any replies.
