I have an iPad - which will run kindle books and iBooks. Thus far I've found a few kindle versions of NS books and apps like skyscape that run electronic versions of resource material. There are a few e versions of study guides also. I think we're a few years away from most textbooks coming in hardcopy with an accompanying electronic version. I think this will be the way things go for a while because the publishers are terrified that ebooks will put them out of business.

I see what you're saying. I don't read for fun very often because I am already reading text for my classes. I don't know what I'm going to do with this thing...lol. Already thinking about returning it and getting a kindle.
I got the Kindle 3 as a gift almost a year ago and I actually used it for one of my clases.Isaved all my notes for a particular class on that Kindle (the prof. had his notes written out on Word so we could print/download it and follow along during lecture). It's helpful for following along but it makes things a little difficult when you quickly want to go back to a certain page.

I went to Borders today to get the McGraw-Hill book and saw that they were offering the basic Kobo for $99 so I grabbed one. I was just wondering if you have an eReader, which brand, and if it is helpful with ebooking your textbooks.
P.S. I realize this was an impulse buy...lol.
Thank you!
