I’ve been thinking about buying charcoal surgical mask from Amazon to help mask code brown smells has anybody ever tried these? Do they work?

I appreciate the idea to be mindful of the patient's feelings, but if I were the one in the patient position, I would seriously and truly prefer those caring for me to wear a mask in this situation (with a dab of whatever) if that makes them more comfortable. Wear a NIOSH mask certified for nuisance "organic vapors." Wear the PAPR if you want (kidding). ?
I would find the possibility of them not feeling free to adequately mask the smell significantly more embarrassing for me as the patient. It isn't like it somehow ceases to become noxious if they do their best to pretend and hold their breaths. ?

I keep Ben Gay in my purse all the time. I put that on the outside of a mask during "challenging" situations and it helps tremendously .
