Do you belong to a Nursing student Government

Hello Friends.

I want to know if any of you belong to the Nursing Student Government in your nursing school.If you do,then what kind of activities do you usually have?

Is there anything like peer counselling about courses,how to manage studies and family etc.

Does your Student Government participate in any of the state or national confenreces?

Do you mean like the Nursing Student Association? Yes, we have a chapter of which I am the president. Lucky me, right??? Long story.

Yes, we have a state preconvention, a state convention and a national convention. We also do childhood amblyoplia screening, participate in the Race for the Cure for the prevention of breast cancer and sponsor NSA day for the county. On NSA day, we have speakers and invite nursing students, interested high school students and recruiters from local hospitals. There's entertainment and food. It's a big event. We sponsor our peer mentoring program too.
