In Full Moon Mayhem??? I can't stand night shifts on full moon nites!! Anyone who is apt to be even the slightest bit confused is going to be all out crazed on one of these nites.

And before I retire I plan to invent Haldol in a spray form...like Raid or pepper spray. So you don't hafta wrestle with them to inject them!Or try to give it po without getting your fingertip bitten off! Patent pending..LOL

oh you bet I believe.I make sure I am off on full moon nights. We deliver more babies and have more problems on those nights and never enough staff.

Nah. I stopped believing in that when nurses started saying "It's crazy around here -- must be a full moon!" when it was, in fact, a new moon.

I think we just notice it more during a full moon -- any other crazy night is just "crazy".

I would have to totally agree with you:):) There is nothing worse that a full moon!!!!!!!!

If I didn't pay attention and didn't know what the moon was when I went to work, I surely do after I've been to work...what...5 minutes:)

I like the spray form Haldol....great idea...LOLOLOLOL

I still say it's all in your head. Wasn't it George Abel that did a study on this? I think he studied 10,000 some lady partsl births in the LA area and found that the moon had no effect on rates.

I'm going way back in the brain here, but I think that's who it was.

Well, it sure seemed to make a difference when I worked on a psych unit. In the ED, the only rule for craziness is...when you least expect it, expect it.

My three kids each went post-term (one 21 days, the other two 10 days)--each one waited for the next full moon after his due date!

Oh yes I believe,hence my user name.I work nights and full moons deffinatly cause the creme to rise to the top. On those nights I am defivatly looking for a Valium lick!
