Has anyone applied to that program? I am just waiting to hear from them.

I got in! What a relief.

Did anyone put down a deposit yet? / Anyone struggling to make a decision like me?? haha

Yes, I did on Friday

I just received my TCE email. I don't have anything to retake.

bumblebee4 I am struggling to make a decision as well!! Open house for MGH isn't until Feb. 24th and I feel like I don't know many details about the program yet to choose one over another. Both are expensive, both have good reputations. I just can't make up my mind!

I PM'd you! Nice to talk it out with someone in the same situation!

Have you guys paid your deposit?

I recently graduated from the accelerated 16-month BSN program at Simmons. I would recommend it!

Simmons takes their Accelerated BSN program very seriously and they definitely prepare you for the NCLEX! Very fast paced and time consuming, but all accelerated programs are. I had clinicals at some of the top hospitals in the Boston area too! I would recommend!

Could you tell me about the classes. Do they have HESI?

The classes are intense, but you'll do just fine if you listen to the professors and take notes! My cohort began in fall 2016 and during my time at Simmons, each class only met once per week for 3 or 4 hours. My first semester looked like this:

Tuesday: med surg 8-11 am, pharm 2-6 pm

Wednesday: lab for 2 or 3 hours (that was for the 1st 6 weeks, then we had clinical for the rest of the semester)

Thursday: fundamentals 11-2 pm, then patho right after until 6 pm

No HESI! Not sure what that even is to be honest haha.

Thank you, very much
