Distance Learning System Indiana

Ok, I've posted about DLSI before but I'm wondering something. It seems that all the publishing companies referred to here send you study guides, you study on your own and go take the EC tests, right??? I'm looking into their online program. Each class has a start and end date, you study their information (and other info if you choose), take their practice tests and then take the EC course. They say that their people go and take the EC tests and make their study guides from that. I guess I like the idea of the start and end. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Anyone ever do this??? I know it costs more money but it seems like the benefits outweigh the cost. For myself, I think the set schedule will benefit me more than just study on my own and take the tests. A paramedic I work with (i am one also) is studying EC directly, on his own, and it seems like he's been doing this FOREVER. Thanks in advance!!!

I did EC without a publishing company and was just fine.

You can buy used guides on E-bay for a fraction on the contract. And understand that if you can not complete EC for some reason you will still be stuck paying off the contract with the publisher.

Anybody know anything about must university online

If you want to pay extra money for study guides from one of the publishing companies, then go ahead and do so. But you really ought to obtain a used copy of one of the study guides that you are considering and see if paying all that money is worth it. To me it makes sense to pay $15 for something instead of $500. The EMT that you mention who is taking so long, is doing so, because s/he is procrastinating. Nobody says you have to procrastinate. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Is there any one out there that has taken classes with 'must university online'

Could you tell us what the initials must stand for?

I'm going to say scam. Accredited by the IAO. Who? Exactly. http://www.internationalaccreditation.org/iao/about.asp

If you check the website registration info for both sites, they're both administered by the same entity. Suspicious. I'm betting one owns the other.

thanks, sounds too good to be true

That website for must is so cheesy it is a dead giveaway.
