Discussion Hunter College Pre-Nursing + NLN-PAX RN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello, fellow prospective nursing students!

I see that there aren't many threads for Hunter pre-nursing students to discuss GPA and NLN scores, so I thought to start this one. From what I heard, current average scores are lower than the previous year's because this year was the launch of NLN's new pre-admission exam, containing 160 questions rather than the former 214 (I think it was).

Please post your thoughts and scores below. I'll post my stats if this thread catches on haha

I wish everybody lots of luck!

KKero

The ppl I know mainly obtain the score around 130,

i personally get a 129 and 3.78

so worry as the confirm day appoatches

hope the month of may wishes me good luck

PS: I took ap1&2 and micro already =[

GPA: 3.6

NLN: 147 ~99th Percentile

I know the decision is made 50/50 but I'm not sure if my NLN will be able to make up for my relatively lower GPA.

Yeah a bunch of people are getting ridiculously high grades. I'm worried. They only look at the NLN and GPA right? nothing else?

Im pretty sure that's the only 2 factors that matters

Yeah it's just GPA and NLN that will be considered as long as you have all the other admission requirements checked off. But how much is each criteria weighted? Is someone with a 3.9/130 better than someone with a 3.8/140?

Hi,
