  1. I don't have a lot of knowledge about the accelerated program, so I can't comment on that. I would suggest that you attend a second information session for the accelerated program. During the second information session, you might hear along the lines of "this year students got lower/ higher grades than previous years", which will give you some feedback about your chances. Acceptance is very relative, and the cut-off is merciless, so I do stand by the advise of attending an extra info session to alleviate some anxiety. Because acceptance is relative, you may want to ask other pre-accelerated students about their grades, or even start a discussion thread like this one for accelerated students. NursKero
  2. I applied last year; here were my scores: GPA: 3.85 NLN: 132 ~88th percentile Feel free to ask more questions.
  3. Hey Anthony, I personally submitted all of my transcripts when applying on NursingCAS. What ever you input in your course history on NursingCAS, you should submit the official transcript of, and vice versa. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Good luck!

  5. If you have been admitted into the program, please be sure to join the Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing Class of 2020 group on facebook. bump
  6. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! For those that were not accepted, and still want to enter a nursing program, please feel free to message me and I will send you some information I received from a workshop about non-Hunter nursing opportunities. This information includes a powerpoint and a document of a list of different nursing programs in the NYC area.
  7. I was accepted into the generic program! Didn't expect such an early letter. Congratulations to everyone who got in, as well as everyone who studied hard during this past year.
  8. Did anyone get any updates from NursingCAS? My transcript was verified, and I'm wondering what the next step is? Is it time to wait for May?
  9. I've been hearing that lots of people are getting high scores. I'm getting nervous... bump
  10. Lol I guess your score will rank you in the first 100, hopefully. Nice work í ½í±
  11. Nice! May I ask how you prepared for the exam?
  12. Sounds good. Do you think a lot of people are mainly getting 130s?
  13. To jump start this post, I would like to comment my stats with which I applied to the Fall 2017 program with last month. GPA: 3.85 NLN: 132 ~88th percentile Thoughts: This spring semester seems to be more difficult than fall semester. Waiting for May impatiently. I'm unsure of whether my scores will mean an in or an out. Hoping for the best.
  14. Hello, fellow prospective nursing students! I see that there aren't many threads for Hunter pre-nursing students to discuss GPA and NLN scores, so I thought to start this one. From what I heard, current average scores are lower than the previous year's because this year was the launch of NLN's new pre-admission exam, containing 160 questions rather than the former 214 (I think it was). Please post your thoughts and scores below. I'll post my stats if this thread catches on haha I wish everybody lots of luck! KKero
