Discipline to Nursing exam advice??

Published

Today is my first exam in any of my nursing classes. I'm nervous to say the least. I know this will be a critical thinking type exam, but since I've never had a critical thinking exam I'm worried about what to expect. Today's exam is in my Discipline to Nursing class. This first exam will cover 7 chapters of our textbook. The topics range from the history of the nursing profession, technology advancements, organizations, types of care, government involvement, federal/state programs, health policy, nursing shortage, and a ton of other stuff! That is quite a bit of information to learn and understand! I've been studying every chance I get, almost non-stop for the last 3 days. I've read all the chapters, study the power points, took notes from my readings, took notes during lecture, listened to my instructors online podcasts that covers the chapters-and took more notes while listening to those. I feel like I've done everything possible to pass this exam, but of course I'm still worried :)

I know you guys cannot post actual test questions here, but can you give me some kind of idea on how a question might be worded? Can you make up an example on what I should expect? Any advice at all?
