I'm just curious. Do you tell your friends and family your nclex date? I heard it's back luck or at least, puts more pressure on the test taker.

yeah, it's more pressure on your part... But i end up telling them.. lol probably because i want to hear them say i would be fine :)

I told my family and friends (close) too! Not to be pressured but to feel their support and love for me I know that whatever happens after the test, they will always have my back. It's just so nice to have people who are dear to you supporting and will be there not matter what for you to achieve your goals in life.

I will tell exactly 2 people of my actual date. My husband and my best friend, who will most likely take it the same time.
Yes, SUPPORT!! The main reason people should know.

I only told close family and friends. No announcement on FB or anything. I didnt want the added stress of people hounding me that day.

Heyyyy...well what I did is just kept dong questions and I studied the 35 page nclex study guide...just try to relax and above all pray!! You'll be fine...remember to breathe and take ur time...don't second guess urself!!! Good luck!!
Thank you so much Bella did you study very single med? What are the most important thing I should brush up? I'm having a hard time to understand the EKG . And did u do question frm Kaplan ?
No and u can't study every single med...just study classifications and you tube has some good EKG videos. I did also the Kaplan Qtrainers.

The first two tries I did tell people...except classmates. But for my third attempt no one knows...just me. This way they won't keep bothering me and god forbid if I don't make it again I can always tell them I postponed it. Its already a disappointment that I've failed twice, I can't keep letting the parents down. No need for support either, I got through nursing school without it I can do it again with nclex. keep what you know to yourself when you find out that youre an RN, suprise them. That's my plan!
