Hello.

Just a quick question. It is apparent that I failed the NCLEX at CA. Is it possible for me to apply for RN Licensure in another state?

Thank you.

Any particular reason? The exam is national therefore doesn't matter which state everything stays the same

How many times did you take it already? In my state we can take it 4 times ...

_I agree, it is a national test, so every test is individualized and computerized to your skill levels as you answer questions.

The test is national so it doesn't matter where you take it, its the same test. If you want to work in a certain state you have to apply to the board of nursing for that state to sit for the exam. different states have different rules so the only way to know if you will be allowed to test and get a license in another state is to apply.

does California have a maximum number of test attempts before it doesn't allow you to test again? have you hit that maximum?
