Did your Nursing counselor give you hope you will get in and you did? (or didnt)

Im waiting on acceptance and the Nursing director at the school told me "I think you will get in," has a counselor ever said this to you and you actually did get in or not?

Good luck to everyone waiting for their acceptance letter!!! When I talked to our nursing director about my chances of getting in she said things looked good, but she couldn't say anything for sure yet. A month later I got my letter saying I was accepted :D

aw why? I just keep quoting the counselor in my head saying "I think you will get in"

I heard the same thing

"no guarantees, but...." from my advisor saying I have a good chance, I find out by March 31

I should find out around th same time...Good luck!!

Good luck to everyone waiting to hear about acceptance!! I will have to wait for 2 months before finding out!! Talk about anxiety and stress!!! My school does it by ranking based on NLN composite score, verbal score and GPA. My scores were decent but it would be nice to know how many students I'm up against, but the school does not tell you!! So, here I wait biting my nails.... :crying2:

I waited a semester to find out. Not a long as some of you, but still its all nerves until you find out. I wish you all the luck....I was on the waiting list and Now I'm one semester from graduating. There are no guarantees tht you'll get in based on scores, but by calling to updating your status helps; b/c they see your serious about the program.

When I applied and had my interview, the professor told me, "everything looks really good." And I got in! :) Good luck to everyone waiting to hear!

Mine told me that too! but not everyone has taken the teas yet so idk and he doesnt know what other scores I am up against so we shall see, cant wait!

I was told "looks pretty good but there's no guarantee" by my nursing adviser (in a MI state school). I had good grades and I did end up getting in, but it sure didn't put my mind at ease at the time! Nursing school reps./advisers in my home state of WA were even more discouraging though (honestly down right rude sometimes lol). :(

I was told that I am definitely competitive for getting in the program, but won't know for sure till April or May
