Hey Everyone, I took the nclex rn yesterday at 8am and honestly i've never felt this stressed and disheartened in my life. It was tough because I can honestly say only about 4 questions were familiar enough that i can say i answered them somewhat correctly.
I had 75 questions and I had a lot of select all that apply and I know a lot of people say that SATA questions are higher level but some questions felt like they were knowledge questions such as risk factors for certain cancers (which I still didn't know) or falls (which were still tough for me) and those are supposed to be below the line. I feel so so terrible. I've been crying a lot and don't know what to do with myself, I can't sleep, can't eat, just generally feeling horrible. I did the pearson vue trick and got the good pop up but a lot of people say that doesn't work and it's unreliable before 24hrs so i guess i'll check again.
I feel so bad. I guess I wanted to post to get some encouraging words. I've scoured this forum throughout my nursing school experience and it's been helpful and encouraging to read other's experiences. I'm hoping really hard that i did well. This has been such a stressful journey I really don't want it to end in failure.
Any advice and kind words are welcome. I'm feeling so fragile right now. It sucks and it's such a foreign feeling to such an extent. I don't know what to do with myself. My mother said she had to wait months for her results and i wish I could be more patient and grateful that my wait is less but I still wish I knew right now. I know in hindsight this is not worst than others have experienced but i can't help being miserable right now. I tried and i'm just digging myself into a worst and worst experience.

Didn't know what was going on during the test AT ALL. literally played a guessing game. everything i learned wasnt on there. my whole test was maternity and peds, my weakest points. I only had 10 select alls 1 exhibit and 0 drag/drop. sooooo scared

I definitely know where you are coming from. I know its hard but try to stay positive. I'm wishing the best of luck. Update me if you can. It's a crazy experience and we need each other when we go through it.

Thanks!!! I know it IS relief. I'm so so grateful that all that hard work was worth it. I'm so exhausted now. It's like the past year is finally catching up with me. I'm going to take this week and think about nothing work related and watch tv or go to the movies or see my friends. lol. It's like my life is restarting once more.
How long before they posted the quick results? Didn't you take it yesterday at 8am?
I took my exam monday, 8am, finished at 10am and got my confirmation at 10:17a. Got the results today at 9:04a. I know that's the exact time because I was refreshing that page every 2 minutes since 4am. lol.

LOL That's funny, because I am doing the exact same thing- even though, I know I won't see any results until tomorrow morning.

I passed!!! Oh WOW! I'm so happy and grateful. I don't know why i'm crying but i am so happy.
