  1. MICU,RN replied to pkpatel's topic in NCLEX Exam, Programs
I took NCLEX yesterday. Mine cut off at 75 and over half were SATA questions.. UGH! After I threw up, had to sit in my car for 45 minutes before I could even drive home. I for sure thought I failed! Well today I found out I PASSED! I hope this helps with the anxiety of waiting for results.. I know the waiting is utter hell and all u want is to know, but this is the price we pay to be nurses. If we weren't strong enough to make it through nursing school and this awful uncertainty of not knowing, we wouldn't be strong enough to be Nurses! Good Luck!
  2. My wedding ring is a high setting and a marquee diamond on top of the high setting. I do not wear mine to work because when I tried it always tore holes in my gloves.. So when I work I have just a simple gold band and the only reason I wear that is because I feel naked without something on that finger!
  3. I'm sure u can. I would contact CTS by email contact on their website or call so they know u r sending it. I'm sure since u mailed application back in Feb they put it to the side since fingerprint receipt wasn't with it. When I sent my receipt in I sent it certified mail so I could track and know it was delivered. But I didn't have to mail a application in because my school was eligible to do the online application.
  4. For me I took the Hurst NCLEX review and studied from the NCLEX mastery app and my Saunders NXCLEX RN book. All options did cost. I passed NCLEX this week with the minimum 75 questions.
  5. The security code is the 3 digit number on the backside of the card.
  6. If she still gets declined message that means they tried to charge the card for the reaschedule Nclex fee.
  7. tm, tell ur friend to go get a prepaid card for $25, put $23 in gas and use it to submit. The cc I used was actual a debit card school ID that any FA excess was put into. I had $2 on it and that is the card I used with the right number but wrong exp date and go the good pop up and my card was not declined not charged. I also tried to use a wrong # first last night and it gave me the same message ur friend is getting but then when I used the right number worm exp date I got the PPP up!
  8. Ok all I'm in IL. I took NCLEX yesterday. Mine cut off at 75 and over half were SATA questions.. UGH! After I threw up, had to sit in my car for 45 minutes before I could even drive home. I for sure thought I failed! Well today I found out I PASSED! sigh of relief. Now as for the PVT... I tried this at like 3am last night when I couldn't sleep, I put the wrong expiration date in the cc info in hopes that if it did go through after hitting submit it would charge my card. I got the good pop up! It helped ease my fears a little but my stomach was still in knots as this is not a positive pass indicator. I was at least able to fall asleep. When I woke up, I went to quick results to just see if they were ready yet..(24 hours passed since testing) they were not! My BON uses continental testing services to process our applications, do background checks, ATT approvals, send official pass letters, and so on. I went to their website and check the application/get grades link. Which is Free! And lo and behold It shows my application is closed and I passed NCLEX!!!! Still as of now Pearson VUE quick results states results not yet available! So if ur only option is quick results or taking the risk of PVT in hopes of not getting ur cc charged. Either take the risk, try using the wrong expectation date and see if it works, quick result looks like it does take 48 hours so try to keep calm and get rest.. Which I know is complete Hell ur results will come. I hope this helps all u testing and waiting for results.. I know the waiting is utter hell and all u want is to know, but this is the price we pay to be nurses. If we weren't strong enough to make it through nursing school and this awful uncertainty of not knowing, we wouldn't be strong enough to be Nurses! Good Luck all and just know U CAN DO THIS!!!
  9. I went to a local community college and receive an associates in applied sciences in Nursing and It cost around $10,000. Now this is just the schooling. I also took the Hurst Review which cost $300 but they have a guarantee u pass the first time or they refund ur money. This was highly recommended by my program and my school has a 90% NCLEX passing rate. They have live reviews and on-line if u can not or a live review is not offered in ur area. Which is the exact same content just on line in videos. I passed with 75 questions the first time! Money well spent! Now u do have to pay $200 to take NCLEX and application and licensing fees too to be able to practice. Just wanted to give u the info incase u were not aware of the additional fees after graduation. I was in a similar situation as u and did not get a lot of financial aid help since u husband has a decent income. So I had to plan for the extra money that FA loans and scholarships did not cover. Good luck to u!

  11. Congrats!!! I passed to!! Isn't it great the relief u feel? Good luck in your new career, I hope it is everything u dreamed of!
  12. Xanderfan, Oh how I feel ur pain! I just took my Nclex RN today. Almost the exact same situation as u... It's killing me not knowing. Ur almost there!! If this makes u feel any better (which it hasn't made me feel any better but that is because I need to see it say pass) there have been about a dozen classmates that have taken the Nclex and it cut off at 75 on them; all of them passed. Our school has a great pass rate %; they all had taken the hurst review course. U will know tomorrow if ur state does quick results. Try to get some rest and good luck!
