Candidate report is given to everyone and states pass or fail. If you fail you are also given a candidate PERFORMANCE report that tells you which domains were above, at, near or below the passing standard (must be above in all domains). You are not told exactly what you got right or wrong but what were your strengths and weaknesses such as patient assessment or pharmacology so that you can create a targeted study plan to retest
You passed. You will not get any further details other than how to submit the fees to the bvnpt to have your license issued.
Oh and the pass letter indicates you passed. The pvt is a trick that works most of the time but is not 100%. A letter from the BoN saying "congratulations you passed" means just that and is 100% accurate 100% of the time.
So congrats. Now you just need to pay the CA licensing fee so you can get your lvn license!

That's a relief! This goes for a celebration. My family and friends are planning to celebrate my pass. Can't believe I passed it on the first try. I got a CR (Candidate Report), not the CPR (Candidate Performance Report) because if I did, then they would say "Below Passing Standard." I saw what it looked like on the NCSBN's site.
Now, I don't know how to apply for the license. Sure, I passed but I think that I still have a long way to go.

I took the NCLEX-PN on March 21st, 2015 and I just got my test results yesterday. They send you the test results through the mai, right? So, one afternoon, my grandma was checking the mail and she gave me an envelope that's from the boards. I opened the letter and got the NCLEX-PN Candidate Report.
Here's what the letter said (I didn't wanna scan it):
XYZ, an NCLEX examination applicant for California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, HAS PASSED (it's actually written in capitalized letters) the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses.
I don't know which answers I got wrong since on the next page of the Candidate Report was the Initial License Information.
I read somewhere in this site that if you get a CPR (Candidate Report), it means you didn't pass. Which is it?
I tried the Pearson Vue Trick.
This indicates that I passed. I did the Pearson Vue Trick 2 more times before I actually got the test results. The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to get too excited.
