Did you get in on your 1st application?

2nd?

This will be my 3rd application and I'm starting to think I suck, LOL.

I have a 3.89 GPA, have had 3 years of general college and finished up my pre-reqs at the nursingf school. There's nothing left for me to take.

So, now after turning in my 3rd application I am starting to panic!

I'm 30 years old, my kids are all in school now and I want to be close to finishing something- I don't want to start over from scratch with something new if I don't get in, yet again!

So, am I the only one who has had to apply so many times?

I'm really feeling down about it!

Thanks!

4.0's were "passed over"? Well that stinks. I didn't get in first try, though I do have a 4.0. The program decided to change the requirements to say that you has to be done with all pre req's BEFORE you apply even if you would be done before the program starts... With the good word of the director I expect that I will get on on the second try without any problem. This is a GPA based admittance and of course if it were lottery then there would be no way of knowing when you'd get in...

In the program I attended, all pre-reqs had to be completed prior to applying to the program. That is what is so wrong about 1/3 of the class coming from students that only met the minimum reqs. Our class graduated with less then half of the starting class.

Good Luck. Three of the 4.0 students complained to the nursing director and the president of the school, all three made it the next year.
