Did you get a postition before getting a license?

I was wondering if some of you got a RN or PN position before taking NCLEX...I graduted in May, and I did not take the NCLEX yet..How did you go about finding a postion without a license?

I went to a job fair in April before graduation. I already had a scholorship with this hospital chain. I went for an interview, and was offered a position the next day. However, I can't begin working for them until I pass the NCLEX on July 18th, even though I have a temporary license until the end of August.
