Did you buy your stethoscope from Amazon?

I just received my Littmann Classic II S.E. stethoscope from Amazon and the box containing the stethoscope wasn't shrink wrapped. This is my very first stethoscope so I don't know if this is standard fare for Amazon shipped Littmann scopes to come shrink wrapped or not. I mean, it looks new for the most part, and the eartips don't have ear wax :D but the lack of shrink wrap surprised me.

The Littmans I saw at my school's uniform sale weren't shrinkwrapped either. No clue if they're supposed to be. I had the one I ordered from Medisave engraved, so if it were wrapped they would have had to open it anyways. :)

the ones I've seen in the med supply shop aren't wrapped and neither was the one I ordered from medisave either

I ordered my Master Classic Black Edition from Amazon, and my Cardiology III Brass Edition from Medisave and neither one was shrink wrapped.

I got mine along with a cuff from amazon, I dont think it was shrink wrapped. Its a Littman classic 2. Got a fairly good deal on both. Gotta love amazon, you can get just about ANYTHING from them.

No but I bought my BP cuff from there and it was not that great. I ended up getting a great one @ cvs pharmacy for 18.00 that works great and doesn't look cheap.

I bought my stethoscope through Littman's and it wasn't shrink wrapped!

My Littmann wasn't shrink wrapped either.
