Did anyone move back home with parents to finish nursing school?

I moved out of my country, tip of the US and moved to a friends' family's house just to go to nursing school. It was rough. Met great classmates. The teachers, and vice chancellor were horrible. Very politically motivated, corrupted. I just found out that chicago is voted one of the most misereable places to live by Forbes magazine. Forbes based it on the political corruption. Thats so true. I didn't learn nursing in nursing school, I learned politics, what authortative power and money can do.

I also live at home. Like some of the other posts, its kind of embarassing, but it helps out so much in the longrun.

My mom and dad have always said that they would help me and my siblings out financially (as im 25) as long as we were bettering ourselves and getting an education.

Plus, its kind of nice to have your own personal cheering coaches when you make a good grade or succeed at something new!

i really dont see it as something to be embarassed about... i think that those of us that are in this position should be grateful that it is an option and also very proud of the fact that we have the kind of relationships with our parents that even make moving home a possibility.... everyone is not this lucky!
