Did anyone fail at 85 questions?

Hi everyone,

I was just trying to get an idea of how many failed at 85 questions, and have you re-taken the test?

I live in Calif so I have to wait 3-4 weeks for results.

I can't answer your question, however, I just wanted to add my two cents. It is highly unusual one waits a few weeks to find out if one passes or fails the NCLEX in CA. Normally you can find out on the board's website in a few days.

Hopefully we will all pass.......

Do you live in Calif? I've never heard of anyone finding their results in less than two weeks in Calif. I hear you get your results, and if you pass then you pay the fee before you even see your name on the boards website.

In Calif it's 3-4 weeks. I wish it was sooner.

I'm in California. I took the test on a Tuesday and my name was on the CA BRN website by Friday.

None of that is true. California is not a quick result state. There is no paying for anything.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Also depends on whether you have done PM or RN, RN usually find out on site but PN won't until they have paid fees.

Ca can take a while before either seeing name on site or receive letter, saying that some people do see their results sooner where others much later

That's for RN not LVN. LVN results take longer and yes you do have to pay a fee for the license if you pass. I don't see why RN's can get quicker results than LVN's.
