Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here applied so that we could wait it out together. Since the deadline was on 2/1 there is nothing else to do but wait...and it is already killing me!
call 818-677-1200. Then say Admission and Records. Then press 4. Then 4 again.
I called 3 different times and the first 2 times they just said that I would have to wait. The 3rd time I got a different lady and she evaluated my application over the phone and accepted me.
If you call and they still won't accept you...call back and try to get another person.
Good luck!
Yes, you should get a letter in about a week or two saying you have been admitted as a grad student. I was lucky I got mine right before the Febuary 1st application deadline so I just submitted it with my whole packet. I was told by the Nursing dept however, that the admissions letter is the only thing you can send in seperatley and after the deadline .
Yeah they have all my things. Just the university last my transcripts but the lady was super nice and told me not to worry and send in another copy. I guess she knew it wasn't my fault. I hope I get into CSUN! I don't want to go to Mount St Mary and pay extra... I will have to sell a kidney to go there.
Does anyone know how many students applied to CSUN?
I was told by someone that I know in the dept that they will screen the applicants and only interview the sorted few. Since their were quite a few applicants, and only 36 spots they can't interview everyone I guess. I don't know what number they will actually interview but I hope I am one of them :nuke:!
Hi everyone, I also applied to CSUN's A-BSN program. I just found this site and am really glad to know that I'm not the only one who's playing the waiting game! On another thread on this site, someone wrote that they recently called CSUN for info on the status of their A-BSN app, and they were told that such info was not available b/c there are 700 APPLICANTS TO THE PROGRAM! Holy moly! This nervouses me very much :uhoh21:

I called the csun admissions office yesterday and they accepted me into the grad. program right over the phone! I am so happy now, that was really stressing me out. Now we just have to wait for the nursing department to call us.
Good luck to everyone.
