Did anyone applied to Palomar's Residency Program?

Palomar accepted applications for their residency program on October 7th. I see from previous blogs that applicants received emails for an interview 2 days after applying. I was wondering if perhaps anyone has herd from them or if their status had changed.

Yep, applied on the 7th about 8am. Not sure how long the new grad listing was open. My status currently states, "Your application has been reviewed and is being considered for our current openings." I too researched last years process and noticed applicants were notified within a few days. Not sure if this means administration has already contacted individuals that applied this go-around or not? I'm new to the area, so I have not participated in their volunteer program. I hope someone will post if they've been contacted. It would be nice to know if I'm obsessively checking my call log/voicemail for a purpose. Best of luck to all determined job seekers out there :)

I applied as well. My status says the same. I heard they contact everyone quickly and it says that interviews are on the 23rd so I guess we will all see. I don't really know anything about Palomars program but figured even if I could get an interview it would be good practice.

Well, another one bites the dust for me. Received this email this afternoon:

Thank you for your interest in our New Grad Nurse Residency Program - Nurse Resident II position.

You have not been selected for an interview. We anticipate having another New Grad Nurse Residency program in 2014.

Please watch for postings on our Palomar Health website.

Hi! Just thought I would give an update about Palomar. They selected about 50 candidates to interview, all internal from what I have heard and are doing a speed dating style interview for everyone this Wed. (Each hour 7 applicants rotate through 7 stations with 5min to interview at each one.) Good luck to everyone!
