I found a home health agency hire new grads but its for pediatrics

Ok....so what is the issue with this?

You also turned down a job at a nursing home as well.

You've had two opportunities to start you career as an LVN in two areas which hire LVNs.

You have to realistic in your search; you need to find a position to give you the experience that you need; turning down jobs and opportunities is a sure fire way to delay your career even more.

Best wishes.

I totally agree. Beggars cannot be choosers in an employment market where 100+ nurses will happily accept the job offers that you toss aside. Here is a simple formula:

Job in nursing home or peds private duty: LVN pay + LVN experience

Turning imperfect job opportunities down: ZERO pay + ZERO experience

When I was in school I did agency, then it shot me up to LVN openings. Agency is good starting out if needed in the way it gives you a taste of varieid types of nursing .....giving you a chance to see which type of nursing fits you the best. If possible...try to get into hospitals or homehealth. For many the "Long-term facility" nursing gets you stuck ( a lot of other types of nursing do not see Nursing Homes as nursing experience - yes, I found that out when trying to change nursing type).

All I can say is just don't give up. I graduated in August of last year and passed my NCLEX in the beginning of October. I wasn't having any luck until a couple of weeks ago. I go in to fill out my employment paperwork tomorrow. :)
