I want to get more opinions on Concorde too. I am considering applying for the Denver location and either doing LPN or ADN. I suppose it would make more sense to go the ADN route.
Lady on the phone told me there basically are no prereqs to get in, which was a little unnerving. I know it's an expensive program, but I just need to start working. I am considering getting my CNA license in June, wonder if I could work nights while in the program to pay rent?
Any other opinions on Concorde, please do tell!
Ryan, curious if you decided to go to Concorde? I'll be 41 this month, in similar shoes it looks like, and needing an LPN immediately, and then would like to work on RN in following years. The expense at Concorde and the question marks of that program transferring to other schools is my main concerns. Did you get decent financial aid? Curious on the overall result of your experience there, if you ended up going Concorde route. Thanks.
I have just been taking prerequisites towards RN. I have been also taking prerequisites towards LPN at Emily Griffith because it's nationally accredited and has ACEN APPROVAL!! Plus it's just under $11k and Concorde is $28k I believe.
The only downside to Emily is you have to wait till August to start core LPN Program but Concorde starts I think every few months. Also someone said they are bringing back RN Program at Concorde... So I would call both schools to get options. I hope this helps!!

I wanted to ask if anyone has graduated this year or last year from Concorde LPN. If so have you gotten a good job. I'm scared to start as LPN because I eventually want to be a BSN. I just want to get in the field now to get experience and start since I'm 44 and starting over.
Thank you
Ryan
