Hello! Anyone else out there apply for DCN July 2018 BSN program? I submitted my application today!

I think the only thing I read was that by the end of May some alternates knew they had gotten an interview for the October cohort. I didn't see many who posted about getting into July. Either way, I think alternates are going to be waiting at least another month to know, because they're doing interviews this month and next.

I just received an email today that I was taken off the alternate list and can move forward in the application process so sounds like they're starting to contact people

Hi everyone! I signed my acceptance today! I was supposed to start in January, but due to some medical issues I reapplied for July and was accepted! I'm so excited! Someone was asking about orientation and it is on June 20 from 8:30-12:30! A little about me: I have my BA in Psychology and Theatre and am a career changer.I originally thought I wanted to be a psychologist, but decided that I'd like to pursue Mental Health Nursing (I think - I guess there is always a cahnce I might fall in love with something else!). Anyhow, I'm excited to meet all of you!

Hi elanab27 - Yes I had my interview. I had one last fall for my Jan start date and then an informal interview/signing of papers on March 19! :) Have fun at your interview, I loved seeing the sim labs and getting a feel for the program!
