Hello! Anyone else out there apply for DCN July 2018 BSN program? I submitted my application today!

I received my acceptance on Friday! Good luck to everyone!

If we didn't receive an email on Friday, do you guys think that this means we didn't get in? I have a feeling that this might be the case unfortunately. Although, I was working with Rachael and I know that she was out on Friday so I don't know if that makes a difference...

I think that everyone that applied will get some sort of email wether acceptance to move on in the process or a denial. So because you haven't heard anything yet, it's still good news. They probably aren't done with notifying people. They did send an email back in December saying that everyone will be notified by 2/12, so just be patient :) I'm sure you will get good news.

Well I did call and spoke to the Director of Admissions at the beginning of the week and he said that anyone who was accepted or put on the waitlist would receive an email and anyone who was not selected would receive a letter. I haven't received either yet. With that said, I am just getting very discouraged and do not feel like I was selected especially because people have already received acceptance emails : (

Were you working with Rachael specifically or were you working with someone else? I am just stressing out over this because DCN was my top choice.

I just called and spoke with Rachel and she said that they've already sent out all the emails and letters. She didn't say that people were only getting letters in the mail for rejection. She said they just sent some via email and mailed letters. And that that's just how they did it. She also said we should be receiving letters any day now!

I spoke with the Director and he's the one that told me that all rejections would be sent via a letter. I received one in the mail today and was not selected. Unfortunately if you didn't receive an email then I think that means you were not selected. At least that's how it was for me, but I hope I am wrong for your sake. Good luck!

I'm so sorry for those that haven't heard or are getting a letters. It's a bummer to have to wait so long, especially for a rejection.

I wanted to ask those that received an email saying they're on the alternate list (like I did)- has anyone found out what position they are on the list? I just emailed Rachael this morning asking that, hope to hear back.

Just got an email back from Rachael stating that they can't give specifics about the waitlist.

Might be a long shot but for those accepted did they give you an idea of orientation date? I'm on the alternate list but trying to book a flight but want to make sure I'm not away if I get in

I feel like I read somewhere- might have been in the July 2017 forum- that it was June 22nd. I'm sure DCN will tell you the exact date if you call!

has anyone saw on any of the other denver college of nursing pages if the other alternates got in or how soon they knew?
