Hello! Anyone else out there apply for DCN July 2018 BSN program? I submitted my application today!
Hi! I applied back in November. Waiting patiently. I have also applied to other schools and looking into adding more.
Hi there! I also submitted my application in December - excited to hear back early next month!
I applied as well! Just before the deadline. I unfortunately have 3 of the pre-reqs still in progress (to be finished in May) and am a little nervous about that. Anyone in a similar boat?
I am fortunately not. Which pre reqs do you have left? Your comment is taking me back to this past summer when I took Micro, a and p 1, and chem all at the same time. It was rough and I wish I could do it over again.
On another note, what is everyone's background? First degree, second degree? BSN adn? What other schools did you all apply to?
Oh my goodness that sounds like a ton of work for a summer session! Kudos to you for getting through it. I have to take nutrition and lifespan psych (luckily online), and physiology.
I have a BA and I've been working as a MA for two years, worked as a scribe in an ER for a year before that. DCN is the only school I applied to!
Oh that is not too bad. I have nutrition left and I am taking patho for other programs I am applying to as well. I have my BA in Public Health and Sociology and have worked in Health Care for about 5 years as a care coordinator, unit coordinator, and now Patient advocate. I am nervous about the GPA requirement I have over a 3.0 but other programs I applied to didn't accept people under a 3.6 sadly. So just nervous!
I also applied in December. Guess we will hear back by February.
I also applied for the July 2018 cohort! I am anxiously waiting and checking my email everyday! I am hoping to hear back before the deadline!
I think we should hear back next week! And so begins the anxious email checking lol.
Has anyone heard back yet? I saw that last year for the July 2017 cohort they heard back on Feb 4th!
Hmm the first time I saw folks posting about their acceptance emails on last years thread was on Feb 8th. Feb 4th was a Saturday?
