Hello!
I received an email that I was an alternate as well. Kinda bummed, since I will be coming from Arizona and would want ample time to get myself set up in Denver. Does anyone know how many people they take per start date?
I'm also on the waitlist. I called to get some specifics and they said they couldn't give me any information about the waitlist. Sounds like they don't do any sort of ranking system... I think I'll end up denying my spot on the alternate list, because I can't leave my work in limbo about whether or not I'm leaving. Without an idea of where I'm at on the list, I don't want to put my job on the line.
For those of you who got invited for the interview, would you be comfortable sharing your stats (GPA's, work/volunteer experience, etc)? I want to try to amp up my application for the next application cycle, but I'm not sure what areas to focus on. Thanks!

@carlymarie123 I was invited to interview and I was surprised. I have a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from CSU and my undergrad GPA was a 3.5, but my prerequisite GPA was a 3.8. I have my phlebotomy and EMT-I certifications but am not currently using them. I am actually an assistant teacher in the infant room at an early childhood center. Other than that, I do not have much volunteer experience but I felt like my essay was pretty well written. Let me know if you have any more questions!
@keighlyanne Thanks for the response! I think you've confirmed my suspicion that my undergrad GPA is probably what got it my way— wish I could go back and slap some sense into my 20 year old self! Fingers crossed the waitlist works out for me!
Congrats on being accepted!! Best of luck to you ?

Has anyone that is an alternate heard any updates?
To those that were offered interview how long did you have until you had to give them an answer?

I haven't heard anything as far as alternates go. I've read from past cohorts on here that alternates didn't start to hear back until March after interviews took place.

Has anyone had their interview yet?
Hi all!
I had my interview last Friday and it went really well. It’s basically just going over the program, what your life is going to look like then talking to financial aid. You also get to see the school itself and head to their simulation lab. The school was really nice and the staff seemed wonderful. I however, have made to decision to continue my education elsewhere so I am hoping that will free up another spot for an alternate! Good luck on your future endeavors!

Hey guys, I am on the alternate list and was wondering if anyone has heard anything from the school or other alternate candidates for this cohort.

I am on the waiting list as well, and was wondering the same thing. I have not heard anything more as far as being an alternate. Has anyone else gotten any notification of being taken off the waitlist?
I think they are going to wait until all the interviews are completed and then maybe start notifying the alternate list is my guess
I just got notification that I'm off the waitlist and now have an interview! Never been so excited in my life!
