Denied Ca LVN license for class C traffic violation?

Nurses Criminal

my question is has anyone ever been denied a california lvn license for class c infarctions or gotten their license with the violations i have in blue below? i got my "pass but license will be held" letter november 24, 2010. i sent in the court documents they requested in november. then, i got another letter in february stating that they needed certified court documents. problem is, i already sent them certified court documents. i called my analyst and luckily he answered. i explained that i had already sent the documents in and he said, "oh, we just received them today." my violations include no seatbelt (dismissed), no proof of insurance, driving on a suspended license, (which the judge infarced and i paid off) no registration and that's it. i have paid off two of the tickets and i'm making payments on the others. has anyone had any experience with this? i don't plan on staying in california, i'm going to endorse my license to texas if i do get it. it's been six months since i got my pass letter and i'm really feeling stuck in california. i'm worried about my license because every thread i've read on this board is about dui's and misdemeanors.

I am finally a nurse!!!! After 6 months of waiting they approved my license!!!:nurse:

Problem is you have 4 violations in that one incident. I'm in AZ- it's a criminal charge here now for suspended driving license. As far as Texas- I have heard it's one of the worst states if you have a record. Also, I read their new budget cuts will discharge 40,000 patients from nursing homes, and cost about 13,000 Nursing Jobs- probably mostly LVNs.

Congratulations!!!! I'am posted on here with the same situation, I too live in Cali. and have traffic fines from 9 and 10 years ago. Mine are similar to yours (driving on a suspended, no registration, no insurance) I passed my NCLEX in June and I turned in all my paperwork in May!!!! But as you know they wont waist there time to investigate your priors until you pay to take the test.

If you dont mind me asking how long ago were your traffic violations???

sounds like you racked up a lot of points, did you exceed points to keep a driver license? btw, a fun stat about california: on any given day, there are about 750,000 suspended driver llicenses in that state- and yet almost 500,000 of those people continue to drive- meaning they also have no insurance, since you can't be insured with a suspended license. amazing, yes?

I find myself in a similar situation.i had traffic ticket way back in 2009 for crossing the red light and i sent the boards the reciept of my payment together with a letter explaining. I recieved a letter 11/3/11 that says i'v passed the exam for licensure but they need to evaluate my conviction record first.:scrying: i dont know how long that's going to take or even be denied a license,, im soo scared. phepheklvn, CA

LOL, I don't know if "amazing" is the right word =( Sounds like incredible cases of azzhats who don't believe that laws apply to them!! They don't have a license for SOME reason which as you said, translates to no insurance. Which, by the laws of Murphy, means they are the ones CERTAIN to hit us in an accident!

Nowa days you can get a suspended license just for Jwalking! Now I'm sure you have Jwalked before? and if you would say you never have I wouldn't beleive you. Besides I don't think "Murphys" law applies to the case in point. Maybe a little bit of 'Self-Righteousness' applies to your comment, coming from someone that beleives it could never happen to them perhaps? I love it when those who like to judge and call names find themselves in the same boat years down the line! Intriguing.

Were you speaking to me? I can only draw that conclusion since you used "Murphy's Law" in your post, as I did. Ummm, self-righteousness? That it could never happen to me? That I couldn't get hit by one of the several thousand idiots driving without a license/insurance? No, Sweetheart, I fully believe it could happen to me--or you.

Now if you're alluding to the possibility of ME losing my DL for whatever reason (not jay-walking however, that's not an offense you are suspended for here), and then continuing to drive--THAT my dear would NEVER happen at my house seeing as my husband is a police officer. "Self-righteous"? Nope, it's a fact....
