Dell Children's Nurse Residency July 2020

Hi! Wondering if anyone has heard from Dell Children's in Austin? I know the open house was about 2 weeks ago.

I didn't go to the open house but I applied to a few positions on February 4th and have not heard anything yet

Was recently offered a residency spot after the open house. Most people I know that got a job offer was because they attended the open house.

Congratulations!!! What unit?

My application still says "under review." I am an out-of-state student though and did not attend the open house, so I'm not very optimistic about it...I knew chances were slim prior to applying anyway! But we'll see I guess!

@ltaylor19 how are you looking at your application? I interviewed for a fellowship position but I can't figure out how to look at my application status.

The NICU emailed me this morning saying my app was not selected to move forward but I have not not heard back from any other unit

My applications still say under review. I didn’t even know about the open house. I am originally from Austin, but go to school out of state. I wish I had known, now I feel like I don’t have a chance. They have not even asked for letters of recommendation yet. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I’m guessing I just wait with fingers crossed. Congratulations and good luck everyone!

I didn’t wait for them to ask for the letter of recommendation. I submit it at the same time that I submitted my application. I would go to your application and attach the letter today.

Sorry for the late response. After I submitted my first application, they e-mailed me a link with a username and password to check my app status!
