Dell Children's Nurse Residency July 2018

Hi everyone!!

I'm starting a thread for the incoming July 2018 Cohort! I thought it would be nice to get each others experiences with the interviewing process and steps to hiring! My main pick is the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Also, I was invited to the Open house next week on Feb. 23 and will be flying in to attend that. Is anyone else attending this?

I was just contacted on Wednesday for an interview this week on Wednesday - so yes I believe they are still contacting people

What position at Dell Children's are you interviewing for? I had a NICU interview at Dell Children's on Friday and It was cancelled

I was told that all the Dell NICU interviews were going to be cancelled due to higher ups not approving the funds for the residency position for NICU:(

When I spoke with the recruiter I asked if there are any residency spots left at DCMC. She said most have already been filled by internal transfers, but she is still making a few calls throughout the month. Hoping yall hear soon!

At least half my cohort has applied at DCMC and myself and another girl are the only two that have heard anything that I'm aware of. Several people have already accepted jobs at Dell Seton and Seton main with the hopes of transfering to DCMC in a year or two. We've been told that's a good way to get into the children's hospital if you don't get in as a new grad.

Hi everyone!! I just checked my online status and one says "withdrawn" out of the 4 I submitted applications for. The other 3 still say submitted.

Just wondering if people are still getting calls from Seton? My online status says 4 submitted and 1 withdrawn but on the Seton website there is only 5 positions available:(

Mine says the same. I submitted 4 orginially, and 1 says withdrawn and the other 3 say submitted
