DELCO Technical School, Folcroft LPN Anyone go there???

Published

I am going to apply to Folcroft for the LPN starting in Sept. I have to take the TEAS in March, They won't give me ANY info until I pass the TEAS so I have no idea what to expect or how the admissions process is. Anyone go there or know anyone who goes or went there??

I have to get 50 math and English and 80 reading. I have taken the NET but not the TEAS. Are these scores lower, average, higher...

Thanks for any info!

I am also going to Folcroft LPN Program. I take my TEAS test Thurs. Oct. 9th to start in Feb. 2009. The only information I received was from their website....

I'm not sure if this helps, but if I get more info. I'll let you know.

hey! I have that site 2! I am taking the teas in March, let me know how the admissions process goes! I can't seem to get any answers on how competitive it is!

Well, I passed with flying colors!!!!

So far, I had to fill out an application and submit a $60.00 non-refundable app fee (cost for Background check, Child Abuse check, etc.). Then, I went to my HS and DCCC to have them forward copies of my transcripts. I also submitted a copy of my Hep B shots as well as my CPR certification (expires in 2010, so I'll be good), you need them on the first day. From what they told me, I will also need to have a physical done and an interview which they haven't set up yet because they are waiting for the background checks to come through.

From what they did say, even though it's now Nov. I can still enter into the Feb. 2009 class.

Once I get more info. I'll let you know.

Hello, and merry christmas to all, i would like to know some more info about delco lpn program. Is there is any students out there who could give me some insight about the school. I take my teas in 1 month and is very nervous. I have all my pre-req just need nursing course. So anybody in the school or new accepted students pleaseeeee shed some light thank you:d

I realize this reply will be late since some of you will be testing for placement soon or already have done so. I went to this school and it is a GREAT program. Very professional staff! I learned so much in the year spent there and it has given me a great foundation in starting my career. It is intense and at times you may feel like throwing in the towel but trust me it is worth it. Please if you have any questions please email (see profile). I will be glad to answer any that you have. Good luck!

Hello dawn6251, I take the teas in march for delco tech. is it a 12 month program or 9 months if you have college pre-reqs? where was some clinical sites the school assign the class to ? did you find a job right away and what type of lpn work you do? thanks

I graduated from there in 2006. I don't remember taking the TEAS just the NET. It's a great school but they are very strict which is a good thing. There curriculum is not easy either we started out with I think 48 students I was in the last night program. We graduated with about 22 if that shows you anything. Good Luck! If you have any specific questions message me.

How hard is the test and how competitive I am trying for The Feb 2012 thanks
