Hi, Anyone out there applying to the Delaware Tech nursing program this spring or fall? or anyone currently in the nursing program already? What are/were your total points?
I am just about finished all the prerequisites and plan to apply in the fall 2017. Currently I have accumulated 10 points but I haven't taken the NLN yet. Just trying to figure out what I need to score on the NLN in order to get into the program.
LOL I'm no spring chicken myself Got2B- I'll be 40 in about a month. I have friends from my A&P classes that started clinicals this semester who are in their late 40's/50's so we'll all be great together! I was in the same boat, putting it off several times due to my kids, finances, family stuff, etc. I said I'm doing it for me now and nothing is going to stop me!
That is relieving to hear DaniB, good to know there are others who are older doing this. We are in the same boat and feel determined to reach our goal! May we both get in and hopefully see you in clinicals!

Absolutely Got2b! I keep hoping we'll get the acceptance letters soon than the end of the month, because seriously the wait is killing me!
The wait is killing me also !! I've been trying not to think about it haha. I did get an email at the end of August asking if I was a CNA, but that was just for gathering information on their end! It also said we should receive a letter about our ranking in the mail "late September" .
It could be to see how many applicants will need to take HLH 130 in Oct/Nov/Dec so they are ready to go for clinical in January.
"Congrats Almost! When did you get your acceptance letter?? I'm really hoping that Stanton sent them and we have them by the end of the week....the wait is killing me!"
They called me last week to sort out some details and told me. I guess the letters should be coming out soon. Yes, I was expecting to have to wait longer, but I am anxiously waiting for the paperwork and next steps.

I got my letter today in the mail- it's dated Sept. 11, 2017...so I hope that everyone has theirs today or tomorrow. I made it!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!
Me too!!!! I got it in the mail yesterday (dated Sept 11th) as well. My husband said there was an envelope from Del Tech, was making dinner and distracted. Didn't even dawn on me. I opened it up after cleaning up, I couldn't believe me eyes. Of course, the tears of joy and excitement were in the way! 13/16 was enough after all! Congrats!
