I have an Associates of Applied Science with Medical Assisting from 2009 and became an LPN this year. With hopes of becoming a RN, I went to several schools in my area and was informed that my Associate degree classes would not transfer. If I were to go the RN route, I would have to take all the prerequisites. I ultimately would like to become a NP. What would be the best route to take? Should I do the LPN-RN program and the RN-BSN or should I just go straight into a BSN program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If your ultimate goal is NP, then a BSN will be required at some point in time. All things being equal- just go for the BSN in my opinion.

What state do you live in? Indiana State has an online LPN-BSN program
