So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.
After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.
So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.
For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

this has truly been an experienced. i failed the first time with 75q. i took off for 35 days. no i didn't study everyday all day. i had got to the point that i was getting sick on my stomach anytime i would look at any information. took the test again on wednesday. the last time i look at the screen i was on q60 then the screen was blank but i could still see the next and calculation so i thought the computer was just trying the generate another question then the survey came up. it shocked the mess out of me. when i got to my car i cried and prayed all in one.
it was only the grace of god that i was able to pass on my second time. i give him all the glory, honor, and praise.
to all the test takers stay encouraged and don't give up. you have to have some faith in the lord.

hi everyone! i just got home from the testing center. i got 75q again, but this time around i felt good. after the computer shutdown, i just said "thank you Lord!" and i'm happy unlike the first time i took which i felt really miserable that i failed & i did. I just hope that this is a good sign for me now. we all will be praying for dlr83 and iel21 tomorrow....what a coincidence your last two letter of username is 21 and you are taking test tomorrow 21st dec. do you also realize if you switch dec (12--last month) it become 21...looks like tomorrow is your day and 21 is your lucky number.
