So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.
After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.
So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.
For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

I found out that I failed , I knew that after I left the testing center. I'm going to try again, Suzanne advised me not to start anything until after holidays. It is hard for me but I know God will help me one day to get through this. For everybody who is taking the test this month good luck and happy holidays to everyone. i'm so sorry to hear that. but as i was reading your post i'm happy that you're being strong, positive & determined to give it another try. you will succeed! don't give up & study again. give yourself a break. i know it's hard but the holidays will be a good time to relax. i'll be praying for you. oh my that is my name next on the list. eek! i'm doing questions all the way up until monday night. then i'm going to stop, relax on christmas and pray. it will really be out of my hands then. i just hope i did enough to prepare this time. i feel more ready than before so hopefully that is a good sign.

I think taking the CA Nclex RN on the 20th isnt :nono:a good idea :trout:hehehe, my waiting game became a little bit on a long side because of the holiday season and the weekend! awwww! anyways, i will just try to enjoy the holidays. Come what may after that... the earliest that I will see the result on the web is on the 24th but the website updates every 2am! So I am looking on tuesday midnight which is Christmas meaning NO WORK! wahhhh I am extending my waiting time til Dec27-28. if none on the web by then, I will prepare myself for 3-4 weeks or more of agonizing wait.:uhoh21:

I'm so thankful that I've found this site coz the support I've here is so overwhelming. Everyone here has its own stories in taking the exam & you guys inspired & motivated me. Thank you all! Now I can put away my books and review notes for good. Goodluck to all those who are still waiting for their results and who are still preparing for the exam. Have faith!! God knows your hearts desire & He will give it you in His time. God is Good!!! If you guys need help in studying I'm very much willing to share my preprations.
