Tweety that would  be cold for Florida

Ado for some reason my cat never sleeps with me

NJ22 sounds like a good  day to be off

Stars I can see why you would be disgusted, I hope he comes to the same realization about his behavior.  I guess Nannie is a bit of a bird watcher...

I was able to leave about 2 hours early.  I caught a break, the coworkers I was covering for got a new case, but it turns out to have been assigned in error.  So I was able to finish early without rushing

Used the extra time to watch White Christmas, which I usually do during Christmas.  Took some time to exercise, work on knitting, and watch Star Trek.  Didn't go outside at all, just too cold

Today will get outside for the first time since Wednesday.  Will stop at the coffeeshop and pick up a salad at Trader Joe's, then find time to watch A Charlie  Brown Christmas

Then it will be time to do a bunch of driving.  First to my dad's to open presents with my sister and family.  Dad is concerned about the cold and wind and them coming from Indiana.  Doesn't seem that bad to me, and if it is we can get together  with them another time

Then to my cousin's for Christmas Eve dinner, thankfully its near my dad's.  Then I return home and get ready for church, have to be there at 9:30 to practice with the choir.  The music starts at 10 and the service at 10:30.  So a long day

Tomorrow thankfully will be quiet, nothing planned except the Christmas Day service at church and some baking

Currently 0, but will get up to 11 today, might get some more snow

Here we are at 22 degrees and sunny/breezy. Brrrr!

I got up at 11:30 AM and filled my and Nannie's medisets. Got dressed, went down to den to give Nannie her pills. Then went out to the end of the porch to peer under the carport, but no, hubby was not in his "man-cave" (the Ford).

Alas, he was staggering behind the car on the grassy area, standing up, sort of, with his legs spread like a giraffe at a watering hole. I yelled to him not to fall, that I would come and get whatever it was he dropped. He waited and I went down and retrieved his phone, which was sitting in the grass. Then I had to support him while he staggered to the back door and into the den to sit in his recliner. He had fallen at some point as there was a red area above his right eyebrow and on the tip of his nose. I didn't look for anything else. In a while when he is a tiny bit steadier (please, God) I am going to cut all the bandages off his arms and re-wrap with gauze and apply the nice 'netting' tube-dsg to hold it all and keep it from unraveling.

And so starts our fabulous Christmas "Eve".

Hope y'all have a safe and healthy and happy Christmas Eve.

G'day

Joe, sounds like a nice evening of festivities.

I can say it now but work was rather slow and uneventful.

Merry Christmas Eve, all!

((((((((((((((( Stars ))))))))))))))) Hopefully no serious fall injuries.  He just is NOT thinking straight, no matter how many times you 'splain it!  I hope you can find a small piece of contentment or joy of the season.

Tweety, how nice to have a "slow and uneventful" shift!  I know the patients don't want to be there, certainly.

Joe, enjoy your festivities!

We helped with music at Sabbath School today, and it was nice to see some of the members we know, and to play music.  Then we came home, and dh fed the cats.  We watched The Chosen's "The Messengers" after we ate, via YouTube.  Wow, lots of music!  And the episode was touching.

Tonight I will attend a Christmas program at the Episcopal church, my friend is singing in it.  I will probably wear one of the singing masks I bought, so I can sing but still wear a mask.

I have been tracking Santa via NORAD, on and off.  He is one quick mover, I must say!

Have a safe and warm Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve!

We had our celebration this morning since Twin B is working tonight and tomorrow night and Twin A is working tomorrow evening.

Hubs and I went to the Christmas Eve service and sang in the choir. We all watched The Glass Onion.

Gma is quite riled up again. Happens most evenings these days.

Joe, we've really never allowed the cats to stay with us at night but these 2 young ones did for the last couple of nights and they sure seemed happy about it.
