I honestly do not know how much money I have sunk into education over the years. Since I did not reach my minimum educational goal, I have to state that no, it was not worth it. If I had all the money that I put into education with no return, I could have paid off my home and I would not have lost it. I also would not have to be scrounging now for the next paycheck, wondering if and when it is going to arrive.

3.5 should be good enough man, I got in with a 3.3. Just get all your prerequisites done so you don't have to take any in nursing school, I think that was the difference for me.

Gotta be a method to the madness, you should try applying at other schools in the area. Might not be your first choice but it's better than waiting a year or two until the nassau program accepts you.

I carried the NC Nurse Scholars award for all four years of my BSN came out with approx. $5,200 between two Stafford loans... The scholarship was worth a total of $20,000, and I pay it off by workign as an RN in NC one year for every year I had the scholarship (4 total).

I'll graduate debt free. I worked lots and saved lots before beginning. I'm also working part-time through my BSN program.

Yeah your right this particular bsn is telling me that in my clinical there's a lecture portion will I get tests in this clinical I just assumed they'd grade me on my hands job experience in the hospital

You'll probably have lecture tests.

My school gives a satisfactory/unsatisfactory for clinical and an A-F for lecture. You have to have a 76% or better in lecture to pass and a satisfactory in clinical.

My school does something similar. Lecture test, you need 75% to pass the class, and clinicals are graded as well. They combine your clinical performance with the paperwork you complete at clinicals for the daily grade. Then all 12 clinical grades are combined with some other homework/project grades for form you clinical grade.

One of those 2 non-clinical classes should be the lecture class, unless they are prerequisites like A&P or Microbiology. Are you already in nursing school or are you working on your prerequisites?
