Hi everyone-
I've been lurking around for a while and finally decided to sign up and say hi! I applied to DCCC for the fall of 2009. Right now I'm trying to keep myself from worrying too much about getting in and just concentrate on my non-nursing courses.
If I do get in, I'm thinking of continuing straight through to the BSN program at West Chester. Has anyone done the articulation agreement between DCCC and West Chester? Is the process pretty seamless or is there anything I should be on the lookout for?
I have a bunch of prior credits and it shouldn't take too long for me to finish once the ADN is done but I also want to make sure I dot all my I's and cross all my T's ahead of time... Just in case. That is, of course, if I even get into DCCC! (can you tell I'm a little neurotic??)
2bNurseLove419- Did you recently find out that you were accepted? I applied to Chester County evening program and am on the waitlist. Wondering what my chances are of getting in for Fall '09? I would love to know what the minimum NET test scores are for acceptance. I understand that there is a minimum score, but I've heard you really need 90% or better. Is this true? Congrats and good luck in the program!

Hey! well i was on the waitlist as well, i was number 7 for the day program. So i choose to remain on the waitlist. And Eli called last week and offered me a seat! I guess 7 people dropped out already. I got an 85 or 83 composite score (cant remember exactly). What was your composite score??
I'm #16 on the waitlist. My composite was 93% (100% Math/85% Reading). I chose to remain on the waitlist. According to the letter I think I should hear something from them again in March. I'm hoping for a lot of dropouts :-)
wow, thats a really good score! good job! dont worry too much yet, you still have 6 more months for possible dropouts....

That's right just a letter. It was pretty thin too! Basically just the letter and a form to return to hold the spot. Nothing else. Good luck!
