DCCC Fall 2009 Applicants!

Has anyone received their acceptance letter yet? I remember reading that some last year students received theirs by the end of October. Just wondering...I know that the school says to wait till Jan, but I'm a bit anxious. :)

Still waiting but based on other threads posted for last year's applicants (2008) it should be at the end of this week or early next week for Delaware County applicants. Don't think about it - you just go crazy.

Do all the letters come out at the same time? Or is it just letters of acceptance?

When anyone gets their letter, please please please come me and give me a heads up?

I didn't get a chance to apply for Fall 2009, but plan to do it for Fall 2010. I hear their admission policy may change and that the NET will probably no longer be used. So, I guess I'll just have to wait and see as the NET was the reason I wasn't able to apply. (got a 67 in reading)..

But good luck! I hope you guys hear some great news soon!

The NET was hard for me to pass as well. I managed to do it on the second time around. I did well on the math but the reading was difficult.

Good luck to you!

Did you guys get a letter stating that all your applications were in order?

After I submitted my application in person I was told we'd get a letter within a week, but i never got anything.

Just being a lil bit paranoid now

I never got a confirmation letter either. I called about back in the beginning of October, and admissions got a little snippy with me and told me I wouldn't get anything until January. :zzzzz

I have not gotten an acceptance letter yet, but I hope it'll come by the end of November.

I want to know NOW!

Has anybody received an acceptance letter in the mail from DCCC yet?

nothing yet!

I think we are all going to crazy! I seriously stalk the mailman everyday. We should hear soon! Good luck to everyone!

I don't think we would've heard by the end of October given that October 31 was the deadline. I got a call from the Eli Johnson on 10/31 because I had everything except a copy of my drivers license in my packet and there were at least 10 people there waiting to hand their applications in. So I don't think we would've heard by 10/31. I did ask when I might hear something and the receptionist said not until January but then she looked towards to office and then back at me and whispered that it could be as early as December. I am like you guys...chomping at the bit!! I can't wait anymore. The anxiety is getting to me. I received an envelope from them and my heart jumped. Then I realized it was just a bill for next semester...LOL! Good luck and let me know what your results are! What are you all hoping/trying for...evening/weekend or day?

Ha ha. Me too! Every time I get an envelope from them I want to throw up! I am applying for Chester County night and evening program. How long could it possibly take them to get back to us? They only base entrance off the highest NET scores..I really think we will hear in the next week or so. But maybe longer for Chester County applicants:bugeyes:

I attend Episcopal school of nursing and I live in UpperDarby. I will be finished school in 20 days. I will have plenty of FREE Nclex review books, reviews and rationale books and cd's avail. Let me no if anyone is interested. They are great books to also study from.
