  1. Did you order at the beginning of July or beginning of August? Hopefully I will have my uniforms by the time clinicals start!
  2. That is really nice of you to offer! Do you know what company makes the shirts and pants? I was thinking of looking online...Also where did you see that clinicals start Sept 20th? Are you in the Chester County program? I am in CC evening/weekend. I am getting really nervous as well!!!
  3. I went to the one in Malvern, but when I got out of there I called the Thorndale store just to see if they could get them quicker. I am not sure if I talked to the owner, but she also told me that she had to fill orders for people who had ordered them months ago (which she just so happened to be doing when I was on the phone), and she had no idea as well when she would have them in. I talked to a friend who ordered her uniform at the april orientation, and she has just got hers...3 months later! I get it--I supposedly ordered mine late, apparently there was a cutoff date of July 1 and the lady acted like I was supposed to know that---but how could she stand there and tell me she didn't have ANY idea of when they might be in?? Whatever happened to customer service?
  4. Thanks matt for the info- I did go to head to toe uniforms and when i asked if they had any idea how long it would take to get the uniforms she said she didn't know, that they would have to call me. Very unhelpful and not very customer service oriented.
  5. hey matt- I start the Chester County program in a few weeks- evening/weekends. When do you have to wear your uniform? Is it just for clinicals or for the nursing classes too? My uniforms are out of stock and I am freaking out because they don't know when they are going to have them in! Thanks!
  6. Ha ha. Me too! Every time I get an envelope from them I want to throw up! I am applying for Chester County night and evening program. How long could it possibly take them to get back to us? They only base entrance off the highest NET scores..I really think we will hear in the next week or so. But maybe longer for Chester County applicants:bugeyes:
  7. I think we are all going to crazy! I seriously stalk the mailman everyday. We should hear soon! Good luck to everyone!
  8. HI! I am also waiting to hear from DCCC and it is driving me nuts. It has gotten to the point that I stalk the mailman! I really hope we hear soon!
  9. hey are you applying to day 2009 at chester county or delaware? Is anatomy as hard as everyone says it is? Thanks!!!
  10. I went to an info session and Eli Johnson said that you can take it at another school and transfer the score in, but it will count as one of the times you take it, so if you took the NET test twice, it will count as the third time for DCCC. Also, my sister-in-law is a nurse at Jefferson and she said she thinks that if you go to Jefferson Nursing School and work in one of their hospitals when you graduate, they will help you pay back. But that is still a huge chunk of change! and there is more to the application process than just the NET exam. Good luck with your test if you take it again!
  11. Hi, Do you mind me asking what you got on the NET to get into the program? Did it really take them until January to decide if you got in? I am applying to the Chester County program.. Thanks
  12. Thanks! and No, I didn't use anything else but the NET study guide. Just read the question first and you can usually just skim through the paragraph to find the answer. The first time I took the test I got a 67 on the Reading and I was crushed! The second time I took it I got an 88 by following the advice in the book.
  13. I am a nervous wreck! I am applying for Chester County Fall 2009 and they only take 64 people! I took the NET twice and got a 81 composite the first time and a 94 composite the second time! I just read and re-did the practice tests in the NET study guide a thousand times. The math section is exactly like the book. My advice for the reading portion is to read the question and then read the paragraph. Even with a 94 composite, I am not getting my hopes up because I know that DCCC is very competitive! When you get in there, remember to take a deep breath and keep track of your time!
