I was wondering if any of you are looking to apply in May for the DSC Nursing in Fall 2015. I'm looking at going there since theres no wait list, Im currently doing prereqs at Valencia College in Orlando but they have a wait list to get into their nursing, Im going to apply to both but if I get into Daytona Im thinking I'm gonna go there.
First if theres anyone thats a nursing student at VCC or DSC now can you tell me if you like it!?
Anyone over there know good apartment complexes that have student living? Over here in Orlando theres places where you tell the apartment complexes that you want a roommate and they match you with other students. Anyone know of one near DSC?
I haven't taken the TEAs yet but planning on it in like Feb or March. I currently have a 3.8 GPA for my required classes for DSC.
Hello all. I also was accepted into Daytona State. I plan on taking day classes at the Daytona campus. I must say a big THANK YOU to you all. This wait period was painful and reading your post helped me get through it. I am very excited to start the program and congratulations to everyone who got accepted as well.
I am not sure what the night schedule will be like but the jump start workshop is a workshop that goes over things that will help the new nursing students. We meet with some former, current nursing students as well as some faculty to answer any questions we may have.
Can someone tell me what the night schedule would be like? If you do the evening classes, are all the classes, labs, and clinicals after 2?
Also, what is the jump start workshop?
The night class's are after 2. It your go on to daytona state and sign in go to search for courses and look the classes up. NUR1010 and NUR1020. You can't sign up for them but you can view the class availability.
