I was wondering if any of you are looking to apply in May for the DSC Nursing in Fall 2015. I'm looking at going there since theres no wait list, Im currently doing prereqs at Valencia College in Orlando but they have a wait list to get into their nursing, Im going to apply to both but if I get into Daytona Im thinking I'm gonna go there.
First if theres anyone thats a nursing student at VCC or DSC now can you tell me if you like it!?
Anyone over there know good apartment complexes that have student living? Over here in Orlando theres places where you tell the apartment complexes that you want a roommate and they match you with other students. Anyone know of one near DSC?
I haven't taken the TEAs yet but planning on it in like Feb or March. I currently have a 3.8 GPA for my required classes for DSC.
You don't sign up yet. When we go to the orientation, they will let us know. I just went to the advising and they told me to hold off on it until the orientation. So exciting. I got in as well and will try to enroll for DSC days.
Hey all! Got my letter on Saturday.. got my physical, drug test and finger prints done today.. I am so anxious! In a good way! I will be doing the jump start program on August 21st.. its the 21st right? I keep checking facebook for a DSC ADN May 2017 group page but haven't found one yet! Hope someone makes one soon. I hear it really helps! Congrats to you all!

Congrats!! Yes, the Jump Start is on the 21st, you're right. Please report back here if they created a FB page for us!
Who usually makes the FB page? Is it someone in the individual classes, or is it someone at the school because I only see the Daytona State Nursing FB page.
I'm thinking of just creating a group right now. Problem is I'm not FB friends with anyone in the RN program so it won't let me add members...If one of you feels comfortable PMing me your name, I could add you so I could create a formal group!

It looks like a student made a page for the nursing students graduating in 2016, so I think we'll have to do it.
